An uproar has started in Bihar over Education Minister Chandrasekhar’s statement on Sri Ramcharitmanas. While Chief Minister Nitish Kumar advised Chandrasekhar to focus on his work, JDU workers recited Sri Ramacharitmanas today in capital Patna. JDU MLC Neeraj Kumar said, “They say, “I am here out of devotion… I just want to request that remember the words and deeds of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, Dr. BR Ambedkar and Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, respect Ram and Rahim.”
