Former U.S. Marine Eddie Ray Routh has never been wed. However, he dated Jennifer Weed, a psychologist, for a number of years. Routh’s ex-girlfriend Jennifer said that their relationship had been on-and-off throughout. They also experienced a lot of highs and lows throughout their relationship. Eddie was consuming marijuana at his house the evening before Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield were killed. He later called Jennifer, his sweetheart, because he had heard and seen odd things. He threatened to slash her with a ninja sword and labeled her a devil who was attempting to disturb his calm. Jennifer, however, remained still until Routh’s attack, during which he murdered Chad Littlefield and American sniper Chris Kyle. She also identified herself as Routh’s defendant in court proceedings. On February 24, 2015, Eddie was regrettably determined to have brutally murdered Kyle and Littlefield.
