Just a year ago, I took my family to meet him in California, and to our surprise, he insisted that we stay with him and even set up an entire section of his house for our visit. He showed us around the best spots, and I had the privilege of joining him for a round of golf at the country club where he was a member, where he playfully tried to convince everyone that I was his son. Dave was a larger-than-life figure, an unwavering entrepreneur, and he gave selflessly. This loss feels unimaginable. My heart is shattered. We love you, Dave.”
