The first season of the Battle for Dream Island television series, sometimes known as BFDI, debuted on January 1st, 2010, on the YouTube channel jacknjellify. The setting for the show is a made-up place called Goiky. Initially, there are 25 episodes. “Well Rested” is the sixth episode of Battle for Dream Island Again and the overall series’ 68th episode by release date or 31st episode by in-universe order. It was initially planned to air on September 1st, 2013, based on the conclusion of the previous episode. The episode would be released on September 1st, 2023, exactly 10 years after its original release date, following a 10-year delay brought on by production problems.
The episode starts with the initial release date, which shifts from September 1, 2013, to September 1, 2023, according to the show’s premise. Then, Yoyle Mountain’s crest is where W.O.A.H. Bunch and FreeSmart can be seen descending. Ruby offers some of the competitors yoyleberries, but all but Book turn her down. Nickel and Bomby then approach Book and Coiny, Bomby putting his arms behind Nickel to give the impression that Nickel has arms. The Announcer then confronts the Firey Speaker Box and claims he was almost caught in the last episode.
In order for the Firey Speaker Box to be able to claim that he was the announcer after changing into metal, the announcer instructs the Firey Speaker Box to consume some gooseberries so that he will look like the announcer. The Announcer convinces the Firey speaker box to eat the yoyleberries, transforming him into metal, despite his initial resistance because he despises yoyleberries. The candidates are then informed by the Firey Speaker Box that they are about to fall to the ground, which they do as soon as he has finished speaking. After falling, Ruby gets up and confronts the Firey speaker box, thinking he’s the announcer. However, he says that he was only looking for the announcer so he could eat some yoyleberries.
