Andhra Pradesh will get gift of Bande Bharat, PM Modi will show green flag on Sunday
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam connecting Vande Bharat Express through video conference on January 15 at 10.30 am, the PMO said.

This train will be the eighth Vande Bharat Express of Indian Railways. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) gave this information in a statement on Friday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam connecting Bande Bharat Express through video conference on January 15 at 10.30 am, the PMO said.
This train will connect the two Telugu speaking states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, covering a distance of about 700 km. It will stop at Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry and Vijayawada stations in Andhra Pradesh and Khammam, Warangal and Secunderabad stations in Telangana. The indigenously developed train is equipped with state-of-the-art passenger facilities and will provide users with a fast, comfortable and convenient travel experience.
Let us inform that the first Vande Bharat Express train was flagged off on 15th February, 2019 on New Delhi-Kanpur-Allahabad-Varanasi route. In December last year, the Prime Minister flagged off the new Bande Bharat Express train running from Howrah to New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal. It was the seventh train of the Vande Bharat series.
