Air India’s domestic flights canceled for 7 days, international flight timings also changed, this is the reason

Air India It has decided to cancel domestic flights on some routes. This is the decision Republic Day Giving information that it has taken in view of its preparations, the airline said that from 19 January to 24 January and from 10:30 am to 12:45 pm on Republic Day, all flights to Delhi will remain cancelled. However, flights operating before or after the scheduled time will continue to operate as usual.
The airline’s decision is in accordance with the Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) issued by the Delhi Airport. The airline said the airspace will be restricted for about three hours every day for a week till the 74th Republic Day. Thus, Air India has taken appropriate measures to minimize disruption as well as cancel flights as well as rescheduling flights.”
International flight timing changes
For international flights, Air India will delay or reschedule them by one hour in advance. This means that ultra-long-haul, long-haul and short-haul international operations from five stations namely LHR (London), IAD (Dulles), EWR (Newark), KTM (Kathmandu) and BKK (Bangkok) are delayed by one hour or will be affected by progress.
Air India said that no international operations have been canceled during this period. Domestic or international passengers arriving/departing from IGI Airport, New Delhi are requested to check their flight status to avoid any inconvenience.
