A shocking statement was passed by Bodhi Mani Risby-Jonas who claimed that he was not himself and felt almost possessed during an alleged drunken naked rampage that resulted in his arrest on an Indonesian Island.

Risby-Jonas allegedly emerged without any clothes (naked) from Moon Beach Resort and proceeded to chase and strike people on the main village road, according to the Aceh media outlet Bithe. Shortly before 1 am, the Noosa man abused a fisherman from the village of Lantik, who suffered serious injuries requiring more than 50 tiches on his heel as well as fractures, Indonesian police told the publication in a written statement. Supt Jamitko also alleged that Risby-Jonas hit a security guard before he left his resort. Jamitko said that Risby was enraged and caused a scene by hitting a security guard and walked out of the resort and ran on a motorbike thereafter.
Jamitko added that the fisherman’s injuries were a result of Risby-Jonas striking him as he passed by on his motorbike, and shamelessly throwing the motorcycle onto him after he fell into the gutter. The police chief said that angered by the tourist’s alleged behavior, local individuals tried to set the resort itself ablaze. Due to the incident, the local people were filled with anger and put the resort on fire but luckily the police officials managed to calm all of them down.
Later, during the custody, Risby-Jonas spoke out a major statement, he said, ‘I feel like not myself, like almost possessed’, it was not a good feeling and I wasn’t myself but I’m a nice guy’. The family also released a statement on his behalf this Saturday claiming that he is fully aware of his behavior and is extremely disturbed by his actions. Also, he is fully responsible for his behavior. He is filled with remorse and apology and acknowledges the pain he has caused the victim. He is embarrassed and ashamed of his behavior.
Risby-Jonas said he only had one small shot of vodka prior to the incident but had been suffering from sunstroke from surfing the day prior and maintained that he was wearing underwear during the incident. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade said that the Australian embassy in Jakarta is providing consular assistance to an Australian man detained in Indonesia. Reportedly, Risby-Jonas will be kept in custody for 20 days while investigation.
